Manufacturing

From resin to bag, every step happens in APRO’s own plant.

Production Flow

Seven steps from resin to shipment

We extrude film in our extrusion plant and make bags in our cleanroom converting room, keeping records at every step.

  1. Resin receivingIncoming resin and LOT checked
  2. ExtrusionResin melted and film extruded
  3. Thickness recordsThickness measured and recorded for every roll
  4. StoragePalletized and stretch-wrapped
  5. ConvertingSealed and cut in the cleanroom converting room
  6. InspectionChecked for defects
  7. Packing & shippingShipped on the promised date

Extrusion

Melting resin into thin film

We melt PE resin, push it through a round die and inflate it with air like a balloon to make film. The rotating die keeps the thickness even.

  1. Resin feedingSmall PE resin pellets are loaded into the hopper.
  2. MeltingHeat and the screw inside the extruder melt the resin evenly.
  3. Die & air ringThe molten resin is pushed through a round die and cooled by air from the air ring. The rotating die keeps the thickness even.
  4. BubbleAir is blown inside to inflate the film like a balloon to the desired width and thickness.
  5. Collapsing & pullingThe cooled bubble is folded flat and pulled up by rollers.
  6. WindingThe film is wound into rolls, and the thickness of every roll is measured and recorded.

Converting

Bags made in a cleanroom converting room

The extruded film moves into our Class 10,000 cleanroom converting room, where it is sealed and cut to size. Clean PE bags are band-sealed.

  1. UnwindingFilm rolls from extrusion are unwound inside the converting room.
  2. SealingThe film is heat-sealed. Clean PE bags are band-sealed.
  3. CuttingThe film is cut to the set length to form bags.
  4. Inspection & stackingBags are checked for defects, then stacked and packed cleanly.

Equipment

6 extrusion lines · 8 converting machines

From narrow bags to very wide film — lay-flat widths of 50–3,800 mm.

Extrusion lines

6

Melts resin and extrudes film. Available lay-flat widths: 50–3,800 mm.

Band sealers

3

Band-seals clean PE bags in the cleanroom converting room.

Bag-making machines

5

Seals and cuts film into bags.

※ Lay-flat width is the width of the tubular film when pressed flat — the same as the bag width.
